Hey Beatles!

What come across your mind when we mention pasar pagi/pasar malam (in English means morning/night market)? Vegetables, meat, poultry, fruits, seafood and snacks stuff? These markets have evolved! There are apparel, lingerie, kidswear and accessories stalls too. And don't be surprise we may dig some good buys from there! Buying stuff from pasar pagi/malam is no longer an auntish thing, seriously. Sometimes we can find nice stuff for younger people at a cheaper price compared to shops or boutiques.

The size of the market and varieties of the stalls depend on each location. Vendors move around, some are regular while some are hopper vendors.

Just a quick share of a recent buy at a Sunday pasar pagi (oh ya, normally weekend pasar seems to have more stalls?). This seems like the latest "fashion" among the vendors as I see a few vendors carry almost similar style. Hey, they do update their "fashion" pretty regularly. If you are a regular, the vendors may even tell you when the next batch coming..hehe!

Tadah!!!...a simple tee at the price of MYR10.00. I know, I know...the price may not be the cheapest if we get it from country of manufacture like China, Thailand or Indonesia. Unless we travel there for shopping-holiday or bulk-buying purposes, else we don't purposely get an air flight there just to get a piece, right?
How I would be creating outfits with this simple tee?

- Throw in a denim rugged-looking shorts to pair with this tee. Add a cap to accessorize the look.
- Match it with a skinny jeans, I feel black or denim color would be great!
- Add a black jacket or those mini jacket with a skinny jeans. A little formal look, yeah?
- Match it with a black mini skirt. Add a simple scarf around the neck to accessories the look.

1 tee, 4 simple functional ways!

So, if have chance do take a look around a pasar pagi/pasar malam! Tips: Just see, feel the textures and check the quality of items you intending to buy. If you becoming a regular and get to know those vendors, who knows you might get a dollar or two off :) And not forgetting to look out for nice snacks, food or get your dosage of vitamins from the fruit seller.

I'm not shy to say I do "shop" at pasar pagi/pasar malam! Hahaha, sometimes we may discover "gold" at unexpected places. Those feelings are just great!!!!

Please do tell me if you have experienced getting fabulous buys at pasar pagi/pasar malam locally. I'll be excited to hear!

Do check back soon. Have a lovely day!
