THE PRODUCT
Powder foundation is something I use when I need an express make-up. I picked this up after reading few reviews on it and tempted to find out how it fares. I have been using ZA compact foundation and this has always been one of my favorites. So it would be good to have another option to alternate. Especially one that claims MAGIC and WHITE?...
With B-White as one of the ingredients it claims to "effectively brighten and lighten skin tone with continuous usage ". Also promises natural with matte finish and shine free. What I like is it is formulated for Asian skin!

THE SHADE AND SWATCH
There are four shades available in Malaysia - namely Ivory(01), Natural (02), Medium (03) and Rose Beige (04). I swatched two shades on my jawline - Natural and Medium for comparison before purchase. I chose Medium as this shade blend on my skin nicely.
See below pics - (swatched on hand)
THE PACKAGING
It comes in a thin, sleek, white long casing and it is space-saving! I don't like when my make-up stuff are bulky especially when I'm intending to bring it out often. My bag is normally crampy with lots of barangs (in English means stuff) so I would prefer something light and not bulky.
There are a longish mirror and a small sponge applicator along with the casing.
THE WAYS TO USE IT
Apply on face with the sponge applicator from the center of the face outward towards hairline and jawline.
- Upon application, it feels light on my skin and the powder glides well on my face. I used it after my Elite Fantastic Primer.
- Coverage is decent, I would say medium coverage by using the sponge applicator provided. To use it as setting powder after foundation, you can use a large brush and lightly apply on the face.
- I applied in the early morning, by late noon my face still look matte, light flawless (ahem...) and it doesn't give me the heavy powdery makeup look. It is not cakey as well. By late evening my face still look relatively matte (extremely little shine on the nose). Thumbs up!!!
- As for brightening, I don't see that significant effect. Perhaps as it stated after continuous usage? Well, I shall see :)
- SPF 30 is a plus point as some days I tend to skip my sunscreen (I know, I know....we shouldn't be skipping sunscreen).
- The price is definitely good for the budget-conscious babes who are looking for a functional no-frill powder foundation.
SOME LBK MINUS POINTS
- Limited shades - only four shades available here.
- Limited shades - only four shades available here.
- I don't seem to see that they have refills for this product.
- White casing can easily gets stain...though this shouldn't be a big minus point for not loving this product.
- The sponge applicator provided is little flimsy for my liking. Probably I'm used to thicker and slight bigger piece of sponge applicator.
LBK says this product is a love for her (can match her love for ZA compact foundation). Will repurchase.
